Our History

Global Insurance Group was founded in 2009 by James Branch, with an emphasis on providing industry-specific insurance products and first-class service to firms in the security industry. With experience ranging almost twenty years, Mr. Branch recognized and sought to fill a void in the insurance marketplace. Driven by technological advancements and acquisitions, insurance brokerages have tended to follow suit with most other businesses, focusing on technology, automation, and delegated organizational responsibilities in an attempt to serve as many clients as possible – however this almost always comes at the expense of providing the personalized service that their clients deserve. As the field becomes more and more saturated with large firms using these models, their clients find themselves being left behind – often having to deal with various different representatives when they contact their broker with a simple insurance question or need.

For some businesses, this approach might suffice. But for those firms in more specialized industry sectors who require more personalized expertise and service, having a single insurance professional who is proficient in their specific field proves invaluable.
